Hello, art-loving friend!

About Me
I'm a Melbourne-based artist and teacher working at the intersection of abstraction, emotion, and personal story.

Through teaching, I’ve come to see abstract art as a practice of curiosity, noticing, and refinement — not just expression. I believe strong work emerges when we pay close attention, when we allow space for the unexpected, and when we return to the work again and again to find what’s worth keeping.

In my classes, I help adults move beyond uncertainty or perfectionism by giving them tools to create with intention and freedom. Together we build visual strength — through contrast, value, editing, and rhythm — while also staying connected to personal meaning and metaphor.

I don’t believe in waiting to feel “ready” to make art. I believe in starting where you are, letting your materials lead you, and shaping something powerful through the process.
